FY27 Regional Economic Development Organization (REDO) Application

About
The FY27 Regional Economic Development Organization (REDO) Annual Grant Round offers grants to eligible organizations for projects that aim to work in close partnership with MOBD Regional Directors to support businesses in Massachusetts, aligning with the state's Economic Development Plan, and to advance regionally based efforts to nurture and facilitate economic growth and prosperity. Applicants should include ways their organization improves equity, affordability, and competitiveness in their regions.
For FY27, EOED is introducing a formula-based approach to determine REDO grant award amounts. Eligible REDOs will receive a proportional share of available funding based on five demographic and economic indicators: population, employer establishments, unemployment, equalized valuation, and industry concentration. Formula-based awards will be subject to a $150,000 cap, with any amount above the cap redistributed among the remaining eligible organizations using the same formula methodology.
